Sigourney Weaver

An American actress best known for her roles in the Alien film series as Warrant Officer/Lieutenant Ellen Ripley and as Dana Barrett in Ghostbusters. Weaver won Golden Globes for both Gorillas in the Mist and Working Girl and was nominated three-times for an Academy Award for her performances in Aliens, Gorillas in the Mist and Working Girl as well. Her most recent works include Baby Mama, voice over work in WALL-E and The Tale of Despereaux, the television movie Prayers for Bobby which she is nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress and Avatar.
