Kee Chan

Kee, whose name means "Keeper of the Peace," is an idealist, dreamer, musician, and painter, Edward Kee Wah Chan was born in Singapore, to a Doctor and doting mother. A move to Australia with his family would later set Kee on a path to realizing his childhood dreams and aspiration of becoming a professional actor. Despite a tentative start he was eventually led to a role as Senator Malé-Dee in the last installment of the George Lucas epic, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005). During pre-production, before many of the ancillary characters of Episode III were given proper names, the designs of Malé-Dee were simply identified as "Male Senator." This no-frills moniker became the basis of his name. Malé-Dee served in the Galactic Senate during the transition from Galactic Republic to Galactic Empire.
