I Love You, One Two in RocknRolla, Mike Chadway in The Ugly Truth and Kable in Gamer. Born Gerard James Butler in Paisley, Scotland. Butler graduated from the School of Law at Glasglow University before embarking on his acting career in the stage production of Coriolanus after being approached in a London coffee shop by actor Steven Berkoff. After that Butler decided to give up law and pursue acting. Since then he as appeared in many roles that have garnered him international attention from both moviegoers and movie makers alike.
