Chris Evans

An American actor best known for his performances in Fantastic Four, and Captain America: The First Avenger. Born Christopher Robert Evans in Framingham, MA to a family with three siblings. Chris became interested in acting at an early age and by high school had decided to make acting his profession. Upon graduating he moved to New York and attended the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute and worked as an intern at a casting office. While there he befriended several agents, one of which later took him on as a client. The screen - not the stage - then became his focus and Chris soon began auditioning for feature films and television. He made one of his first appearances on The Fugitive, a remake of the 1960s series and feature film starring Harrison Ford. Chris has appeared in several comic-book adaptations including Lucas Lee (evil ex #2) in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World with co-star Brandon Routh, Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, in the Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer with co-star Doug Jones, and his most current role as Marvel Comics character Captain America in Captain America: The First Avenger. Chris will reprise the role in The Avengers along side co-stars Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk).
