Ben Browder
An American actor and writer, best know for his roles as John Crichton in Farscape and Cameron Mitchell in Stargate SG-1. Born in Memphis, Tenn. he attended Furman University with a degree in psychology. He then went on to study drama at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England. He moved his family to Austalia after landing the role of astronaut John Crichton in Farscape for which he received two Saturn Awards for Best Actor. He reprised the role of John Crichton in the 2004 SciFi Channel mini-series Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars and left the door open for future adventures. He joined the Stargate SG-1 cast from 2005 to 2008 playing Lieutenant Colonel Cameron Mitchell, the new commanding officer of SG-1.
