Alien vs. Predator (abbreviated AVP) is a sci-fi/ horror series which consists of a range of media including comics, novels, computer/video games, and feature films, the first released in 2004 by 20th Century Fox. It is an adaptation between two famous film franchises about extraterrestial beings: the Aliens and Predators, and the conflict with one another. A concept which originated in a 1989 comic book. Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (also known as AVP:R) is the sequel, released on December 25, 2007.
